The Anchorage School District (ASD) recently released a memo stating that they would no longer provide support to many families who have their children dual-enrolled in public correspondence programs and in private school. But Anchorage families have many other options outside of ASD.
Stacey McIntosh from Mat-Su Central School, Kim Bergey from Raven Homeschool, and Leigh Sloan from The Green Room Learning Community joined Bethany Marcum and Sarah Montalbano for a presentation and Q&A about several educational options for Anchorage families. The presenters explained some details of their programs and important dates for families. After the presentation, Ms. McIntosh, Ms. Bergey, and Ms. Sloan fielded excellent questions from the audience.
