Watch Alaska Policy Forum’s recent webinar about the myths surrounding school choice in rural areas.
Jason Bedrick, research fellow at the Heritage Foundation’s Center for Education Policy, joined Sarah Montalbano to discuss his recent report Rustic Renaissance: Education Choice in Rural America. He explains how rural areas often have more education options than are commonly known and that, in rural areas with robust school choice, traditional public schools are spurred to improve. He also answers some outstanding questions from the audience.
